Lost and Found

If you have found an item, immediately take the item to the nearest Acadia National Park facility to be processed.

To help us sort through the immense volume of reports we receive, please be as specific as you can with item descriptions.

For instance, if you are reporting lost or found eyeglasses, please specify:

  • Glasses type (prescription or sunglasses)
  • Brand, if known (Rayban, Ralph Lauren)
  • Material (plastic, metal)
  • Lense shape (oval, wayfarer)
  • Lense color (clear, gray, purple)
  • Lense frame color
  • Temple frame color
  • Temple frame design (stripes, flowers)

If you are reporting a lost or found cellphone, please specify:

  • Brand (iPhone, Samsung, Google)
  • Model (11, Galaxy 9, Pixel)
  • Phone color
  • Phone case color
  • Case brand
  • Case description (glitter, stickers)
  • Lock screen image
 

Lost and Found Report Form Submitted

You may choose to provide additional information such as your address or phone number. We may use that information to contact you if we find your item or if we have more questions. Sometimes we forward your e-mail to other government employees or authorized concessioners who may be better able to help you. Except for authorized law enforcement investigations, we do not share your e-mail with any other outside organizations.
