African Burial Ground National Monument consists of an indoor visitor center and museum and an outdoor memorial. Hours of operation are listed below.

Exception:

The Outdoor Memorial will be remain open until 5 pm during summer months - May 7th through September 2nd.
Starting September 2nd the Outdoor Memorial will be closing at 4 pm.

The outdoor memorial is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day.

It is open during the winter, weather permitting.
