Getting to Anacostia Park by DC Metro Rail or Metro Bus

DC Metro provides public transportation to Anacostia Park via bus and rail. The trip planner is a good place to plan your visit.

The Anacostia Metro Station on the green line is very convenient to the southern portion of Anacostia Park. There is a parking garage at the station and a bus terminal.

The Potomac Avenue Metro Station on the orange/blue lines is closer to the northern part of Anacostia Park and the skating pavilion and the Aquatic Resources Education Center. It is a 1.2 mile walk to the skaing pavilion from the Potomac Avenue Station.
