Acknowledgements and Resources

Spending three weeks as an Artist-In-Residence living, hiking, and writing in Valles Caldera was an incredible gift. The writing I’ve included here is just the beginning, there are so many more stories to write and tell. I hope to return and to continue. But for now, I’d like to acknowledge those who did so much to make me feel at home. Much gratitude to the Pueblo and Four Winds Park Fire Ecology Crew for a day in the field. And huge thanks to Valles Caldera Rangers Dave Krueger, Lauren Ray, Adam Dean, Sarah Hall, Corey Lycopolus, Chad Kerner, Meg McAlonis, David Jones, and Raelyn Toya, for their humor, warmth, wisdom, and welcome.
