Distance Learning

Bering Land Bridge National Preserve protects a small remnant of a once giant landmass that connected Asia to North America during the last ice age. In the preserve you can find rolling tundra, giant maar lakes, lava fields, hot springs, and miles of coastline. Arctic animals, plants, and people live harmoniously on this land as they have for time immemorial. Rangers will bring this unique preserve to your classroom during one of the free distance learning programs listed below!

In these live, interactive programs, a park ranger will meet with your class via Microsoft Teams or Zoom. Programs are designed to align with Next Generation Science Standards outlined in the program description.

Programs are typically available September-May. Programs are available at this time. Book your program today!

Note that Alaska is in the Alaska Time Zone (AKST) and follows daylight savings time changes. Distance learning programs start at 8:00 am Alaska Time (12:00 pm Eastern Time, 11:00 am Central Time, 10:00 am Mountain Time, and 9:00 am Pacific Time).
