The 2025 Bryce Canyon Geology Festival (Geo Fest) is currently scheduled for Friday, July 18 and Saturday, July 19, 2025. We expect to again have guided hikes, family-friendly geology programs, evening programs as well as exhibits and family oriented activities at the Visitor Center.

Day 1: Friday
10 a.m. to 11 a.m. - Hike with a Geologist
12 p.m. to 4 p.m. - Visitor Center Plaza Activities
Geology booths from nearby public lands and parks set up at the Visitor Center.
Booths included Dixie National Forest, Escalante Petrified Forest State Park, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, Southern Utah University, Snow Canyon State Park, St. George Dinosaur Discovery Site, Utah Geological Survey Utah Tech University, and Zion National Park.
2 p.m. to 5 p.m. - Geology Talks
8:00 p.m. - Evening Program at North Campground Outdoor Theater
Earth Detectives: How Geologists Study Earth’s History
Day 2: Saturday
