Guest Speakers

Teachers may ask for park rangers as guest speakers in their classrooms. These classroom programs are free. The presentations focus on fourth and fifth grade Virginia standards of learning. Students explore history using geography, landscapes, and primary sources like artifacts and photographs. Classroom visits are good preparation for field trips. Program options are listed below.
