This guided 1-mile roundtrip snoshoe hike through the stunning Cedar Breaks National Monument offers a unique opportunity to connect with both nature and history. Participants will enjoy a short, fun hike through the snowy sub-alpine forest. As we hike along this half mile (one-way) trail, visitors will hear the fascinating story of Brian Head's origins and its transformation into the resort destination it is today. At the turnaround point, enjoy breathtaking views and a deeper understanding of how this area's past continues to shape its future. DifficultyThis Guided Snowshoe Tour is beginner friendly, but any trail is tough at an elevation of 10,000 feet. Participants will be hiking a total of 1-mile, round trip, over terrain that features a mix of up- and down-hill inclines. Cedar Breaks is located at 10,000 feet and increases the difficulty level of any hike. What to WearDress for cold and wet conditions. It is better to wear more layers that can be shed throughout the hike than to not have enough layers and be uncomfortable for the duration of the Guided Snowshoe Tour. It is also recommended that you wear a water resistant outer layer, if available. No Restrooms AvailableThere are no restroom facilities available within the park.
