Come be an astronomer! Join the Rangers of Cedar Breaks at the Point Supreme Overlook under a sky of stars, planets, and nebulas. Experience a night of wonder and observe astronomical features through a telescope from 6:30PM to 10:30PM every Friday and Saturday through mid-October. No reservations required.

What to Wear

Be prepared to be outdoors. Dress for incredibly cold summer nights. Our Rangers recommend warm coats, pants, shoes, gloves, and hats.

What to Bring

Thinking about packing a flashlights? White light interferes with our view of the night sky. Should you bring a flashlight, please ensure it has a red-light function to be used exclusively. Also, please refrain from using flash photography and leaving vehicle headlights on for longer than necessary.

Secure Your Spot

Tours are free of charge; however, as a federal fee area, all groups require an entrance pass to Cedar Breaks. Entrance passes are $25 per vehicle. Interagency Annual or America the Beautiful passes waive the entry fee of all individuals traveling together in one vehicle.
