Earth Day

This Earth Day, we invite you to roll up your sleeves and help us plant a lively variety of plants. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or a first-timer, all are welcome! Bring your family, friends, and a passion for the planet!

This is a volunteer planting opportunity that will include working alongside Chamizal staff in planting seasonal flowers, learning about native plants, and connecting with nature enthusiasts. Your efforts will contribute to a healthier environment and a more vibrant community space!

Let’s come together to celebrate and protect our Earth!

New Citizen Ceremony

We invite you to a special event at Chamizal National Memorial to honor those who are becoming U.S. Citizens!

The National Park Service and USCIS are continuing our partnership to celebrate the journey of new citizens as they take this important step in their lives. Coming from many walks of life, new citizens take their oath of citizenship in national parks across the country.

Let’s come together to support and celebrate our newest American citizens of our community!

Kit Bashing

Hey, creative friends! Are you ready to unleash your inner artist? Join us for a Kit Bashing Sculptural Session at Chamizal National Memorial!

What’s kit bashing, you ask? It’s all about taking different model kits and deconstructing them to create something totally unique! In this case, we will have an experienced kit basher (Angel Cabrales) lead us in making sculptures based off musical themes!
