From Thursday, September 18 to Sunday, September 21, Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will host a variety of special programs to mark the 162nd anniversary of the Battle of Chickamauga. This will include a major living history program, ranger-guided tours and presentations, as well as in-depth battle hikes led by the park's historian.
In addition to the numerous programs taking place during the anniversary weekend, on Saturday, September 20, America's National Parks (Eastern National) will host Author Dave Powell for a book signing, at the Chickamauga Battlefield Visitor Center, from 10 am - 4 pm.
