Boat Launch Permits

Vessels with a motor present (attached or on board) require a permit to operate on Lake of the Arbuckles.

How to Purchase a Daily Boat Launch Permit

• A one day permit is $4.00. A two day permit is $8.00. The one day permit is valid for 24 hours from time of purchase. The two day permit is valid for 48 hours from time of purchase.
• Daily permits can be purchased at fee machines located near the boat ramps at The Point, Buckhorn, and Guy Sandy.
• Visitors with a Senior Pass or Access Pass may use these passes at the boat launch fee machines for 50% off their daily permit.
• If using Eagle Bay ramp, the closest fee machine is located next to Guy Sandy boat ramp.
• Keep your daily receipt with you as proof of purchase while on the lake.

All transactions are by credit or debit card only.

How to Purchase an Annual Boat Launch Permit

• Decals can be purchased online through the pay.gov link found here.
• The email confirmation from pay.gov will serve as proof of purchase until the decal is obtained.
• Annual Permit cost is $30.00.
• Valid through the calendar year. Annual permits expire December 31st of each year.
• Senior Annual, Senior Lifetime, and Access Pass cardholders are eligible to receive a half-price discount for one permit per calendar year.

Display of Annual Boat Launch Permits

• Three stickers are included in the annual boat launch permit. Two are for the boat and one is for the trailer.
• The two large arrowhead stickers will be placed on both sides of the vessel next to the annual state sticker and registration numbers.
• The small rectangular sticker will be placed on the driver side of the trailer tongue.
