Common Ways to Volunteer For volunteers wanting to experience the monument from afar, some 4 month volunteer positions come with a campsite!
Visitor Services:If you enjoy talking to people of all ages, then helping at the visitor center information desk or assisting with interpretation could be for you.
Visitor Services Volunteer duties include greeting visitors, answering phones, giving park information, and assisting with store sales. You may participate in planning, researching, and presenting interpretive programs or written material. Unique skills, like photography or bird identification are often very helpful. Email us for more info! Camp hosts put out campground tags each morning, use recreation.gov to determine when campers are arriving and leaving, and assist visitors with questions about camping and the park. Email us!
