Visitation

Chiricahua National Monument sees the vast majority if it's visitors in March and April. In March, you may share the park (and parking lots) with 300-500 people each day. If you are visiting with a hiking group or can visit at another time, avoid coming in March or early-April.

July and August have the lowest visitation despite more moderate summer temperatures than surrounding areas. August can average just 60 visitors per day!
