De Soto National Memorial offers educators a wealth of information and materials for educating students on topics ranging from Florida history, Florida's environment, the National Parks, and the role of the Park Ranger. This site offers in-house and on-site field trip opportunities, lesson plans, and how park published materials meet Florida teaching standards. We also offer opportunities for interested educators to step into the role of Ranger and gain an unique experience as a Teacher Ranger Teacher (TRT).
