The national park sites rely on the generosity of the public through volunteers, visitors, and donors to preserve these places for future generations.

By donating time, resources, money, and knowledge, park lovers protect natural and cultural resources and educate visitors on how to do so as well.

Volunteer

Volunteering supports a park in so many ways. All departments within Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area have volunteers that help staff with many different projects and tasks.

Volunteers across the country pour life and love into their parks, preserving and maintaining for future generations.

The Friends of Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area are a group that support the park by fundraising through hosting programs, collaborating on activities, and attending outreach events.

Donations

Monetary donations are graciously accepted and directly benefit park operations. These funds are used for interpretation, visitor services and safety, as well as resource management programs. Those who wish to donate are welcome to mail a check or money order made payable to "National Park Service" at the following address:
