Fort Laramie National Historic Site is world renown historic site within the National Park system. The compelling history preserved here, gives us a window into the history of westward expansion, fur trading, American Indians, and so much more. Interpreting and protecting this wealth of history would be impossible without the dedicated team of volunteers who contribute countless hours of their time to promote and support “America’s Best Idea.”

Fort Frederica National Monument needs dedicated volunteers to help accomplish our mission. The duty of the National Park Service is to preserve the site for future generations and provide opportunities for visitors to understand this substantial history.

· Join our maintenance crew and help (literally) keep the park gates open. Carpentry, landscaping, painting, cleaning, and so much more are vital for the health of the facility.

Whatever skills or interests you possess; you can find meaningful opportunities to get involved at YOUR National Park! While helping preserve and share this special place volunteers get to experience the park in many unique ways.
