Volunteer

Volunteers-In-Parks (VIPs) are Very Important People! Explore, learn, and share your time and talent while helping us protect Fort Washington Park. From assisting with trash pickups, being part of the artillery crew, or maintaining the fort - the work our volunteers do makes a difference!

Individuals, families, and organized groups are welcome to volunteer. The time commitment for volunteer service at Fort Washington Park typically consists of two-hour drop-in events, with some recurring volunteer opportunities available. Public drop-in events are held throughout the year, including for national Days of Service, and opportunities for interested groups can be arranged as well.
