Deaf / Hearing Loss

Two miniature version of the statues seen along the memorial are placed on a table for visitors to touch. Braille is available next to each exhibit. A handheld audio device is available next to the exhibits.

American Sign Language

Please contact us at least two weeks before your visit for ASL interpretation of the memorial.

Assistive Listening

There are three sets of assistive listening systems in the exhibit area. Each has one hand-held speaker that must be placed against an ear. They are connected to the panel with a cord that cannot be moved far. Visitors must navigate buttons on a panel to change volume, pause, play, and skip.
