Cell Phone Tour

To participate in the tour, please call 585-627-4152 on your mobile device, and when prompted input the number of the stop to hear a recorded message about that stop. You can also scan the QR code with your cell phone's camera, or visit the online tour. The stop numbers at Friendship Hill are 11 through 21.

Alternately, this tour is available on the official NPS App, developed by the National Park Service for mobile devices. It is encouraged that you download this park's data in the app for offline usage before visiting, as mobile data reception can be variable while visiting Friendship Hill National Historic Site.

These same steps will also give you access to the tours at Fort Necessity, which are stops one to seven (and 101 to 107). If you suddenly start hearing about the French and Indian War instead of Gallatin, that may be why. Sometimes when you call in, the automated system doesn't recognize the beginning one right away. The preferred method is to utilize the NPS app or the online tour.
