The Nature Conservancy in Delaware and Pennsylvania partners with the park to manage the park's Stream Stewards program. ![]() Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural AffairsThe Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs (HCA) is managed and funded by the State of Delaware. The mission of HCA is to "preserve Delaware's heritage and showcase the historic legacy of Delaware". HCA maintains and operates the New Castle Court House Museum and the John Dickinson Plantation which are two of the sites that make up First State NHP. ![]() First State Heritage Park First State Heritage ParkFirst State Heritage Park is one of 17 State parks that are managed and funded by the Division of Parks and Recreation which is part of Delaware's Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control. First State Heritage Park interprets The Dover Green, which is one of the unique sites that make up First State NHP. ![]() Old Swedes Historic Site Old Swedes Historic SiteThe Old Swedes Historic Site preserves, protects, and interprets the many resources that make up the National Historical Landmark. The park partners with the Old Swedes Historic Site to maintain and interpret the facilities which are part of First State NHP. ![]() Kalmar Nyckel Foundation Kalmar Nyckel FoundationThe Kalmar Nyckel Foundation's mission is to "preserve and promote the cultural and maritime heritage of Delaware and the Delaware Valley for the education and enrichment of all". The park works with the Kalmar Nyckel Foundation and the Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs to maintain and mange Fort Christina. Fort Christina is one of the unique sites that make up First State NHP. |
