The National Park Service uses leasing to help preserve areas of historical significance, including Sandy Hook’s Fort Hancock.
Consistent with Executive Order 14217, Commencing the Reduction of the Federal Bureaucracy, the Fort Hancock 21st Century Federal Advisory Committe was terminated by Secretary Burgum on February 27, 2025.
Gateway worked with the Fort Hancock 21st Century Federal Advisory Committee from 2012 to 2025 to create a viable, vital community in historic Fort Hancock.
