Garden
The Eisenhowers normally planted a vegetable garden each year and our team of volunteers help us recreate the garden each season. From May through October, volunteers lay out the garden, tend to the vegetables, and harvest the produce as it comes in. This helps us more accurately reflect the Eisenhowers’ time on the farm, but we’re also able to donate much of the produce to local food banks. Volunteers need to be able to stand, bend, and carry up to ten pounds at a time.
