Maintenance VolunteersAs a Maintenance Volunteer, you will play a critical role in preserving the physical landscape and infrastructure of the Gila Cliff Dwellings. Your tasks may include:
Maintenance volunteers often work in teams and receive training on specific tasks. This role is ideal for those who enjoy physical activity, working outdoors, and seeing the tangible results of their efforts. Interpretive VolunteersAs an Interpretive Volunteer, you will engage directly with visitors, enhancing their understanding and appreciation of the Gila Cliff Dwellings. Your responsibilities may include:
Interpretive volunteers should enjoy interacting with the public and have a passion for education and storytelling. Training is provided to ensure you have the knowledge and skills needed to deliver accurate and engaging information to visitors. Volunteers are asked to make a minimum commitment of three or four months, 32 hours per week.
