• Children must be accompanied by an adult on all programs.
• All outdoor ranger programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or when lightning danger is present.
• When possible, programs will be moved indoors

Description: Join rangers and astronomers behind Grand Canyon Visitor Center for an evening of telescope viewing and laser-guided constellation talks under one the darkest night skies in the United States!

Time: Anytime between 9 pm and 10:30 pm. Constellation talk begins at 9:30 pm.*

Location: South Rim - Grand Canyon Visitor Center (follow red rope lights)

*Free Village Route shuttles end at 8:30 pm. Driving a personal vehicle or walking is best.

  Desert View is open all year and is located on the South Rim, 23 miles/37 km, east of Grand Canyon Village on State Route 64, also known as Desert View Drive.

• North Rim
  Ranger programs are presented between May 15 and October 15, 2024. It's a 209 mile/336 km drive from the South Rim Village to the North Rim.
