Junior Angler

Come out and fish with a ranger! The Junior Ranger Angler program is for children ages 5 and up. Participants will learn about fish species, aquatic habitat, how to stay safe on the water, and have the opportunity to try their hand at catching a fish.

Gear and equipment will be available for use during the program for any children who might need it.

Ages: 5 years old and up -
Each program is limited to 8 participants

Registration in advance is required

Children will have the opportunity to learn either fly fishing or spin fishing.

  • Fly fishing is recommended for ages 10 years and up.
  • Spin fishing is recommended for 5 years and up.
