Junior Angler

Come out and fish with a ranger! The Junior Ranger Angler program is for children ages 5 and up. Participants will learn about fish species, aquatic habitat, how to stay safe on the water, and have the opportunity to try their hand at catching a fish.

Gear and equipment will be available for use during the program for any children who might need it.

Every Tuesday -
June 25 - August 13, 2024

Time: 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Ages: 5 years old and up - Each program is limited to 8 participants

Please note that anyone 12 years or older must have a valid state of Montana fishing license to participate.

Children will have the opportunity to learn either fly fishing or spin fishing.

• Fly fishing is recommended for ages 10 years and up.
• Spin fishing is recommended for 5 years and up.

Each program is limited to 8 participants and advanced registration is required.
