All park visitors are required to pay an entrance fee or present a valid park pass upon entering Haleakalā National Park. The entrance fee allows visitors to explore the trails, overlooks, and visitor centers for 3 days. In addition to the entrance fee, visitors have the option to make reservations and obtain permits for various activities within the park.
