Permits & Reservations

All park visitors are required to pay an entrance fee or present a valid park pass upon entering Haleakalā National Park. The entrance fee allows visitors to explore the trails, overlooks, and visitor centers for 3 days. In addition to the entrance fee, visitors have the option to make reservations and obtain permits for various activities within the park.

Anyone entering the park for sunrise must have an advance reservation.
