MOUNT RAINIER NATIONAL PARK
Yakima Park Stockade Group (circa 1935)
The North Blockhouse is a wood-frame structure, resting on a stone foundation wall, with a jetted second story. The building's hip roof is finished with cedar shakes. Its saddle-notched corners with axe-cut ends articulate the exterior log walls.
