Old Christine Falls Bridge (1908)

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers constructed this bridge, built over Van Trump Creek adjacent to Christine Falls, in 1908. Replaced by a second bridge of unknown materials in 1915, that bridge was ultimately replaced by the granite-faced concrete bridge built in 1927-1928.
Photographer unknown, 1911. [Library of Congress reproduction number: HAER, DLC/PP-95:WA-5;DLC/PP-99:WA-1 (HAER WA-48-5)]
