Volunteer

Volunteers help visitors make connections with the many stories of Independence National Historical Park. Potential volunteers are required to complete a new volunteer training and undergo a successful background check. Current Volunteer Opportunties:

The park is currently recruiting new Volunteer Park Ambassadors in the division of interpretation. Volunteer Park Ambassadors assist visitors with wayfinding, orientation, and trip planning to Independence National Historical Park. The volunteers work at the Independence Visitor Center desk and rove throughout the park. On occasion, volunteers staff the desk in the lobby of the Benjamin Franklin Museum.
