LocationThe Independence Visitor Center is located in Independence National Historical Park at 6th and Market Streets. Entrance doors are located on all sides of the building.

The GPS address for the parking garage located underneath the Independence Visitor Center, the AutoPark at Independence Mall, is 41 N. 6th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19106.
Hours and FeesOpen daily 9 am–6 pm (National Park Service desk staffed 9 am–5 pm)

You'll find plenty of amenities in the building, including restrooms, loaner wheelchairs, a cafe, and free Wi-Fi. Use the Wi-Fi to download the FREE National Park Service mobile app.

 

Exhibits

Enjoy interactive exhibits about the park's stories. Imagine signing the US Constitution, touch a replica of the crack in the Liberty Bell, and use the big map to orient yourself to the park sites.
 

FilmsSee three short films in the park's theater, including the virtual tour of Independence Hall. The city's Welcome Theater plays a variety of short films crafted to introduce you to all there is to see and do in and around the City of Philadelphia, no matter what time of the year you visit.

 

AccessibilityThe Independence Visitor Center is fully accessible for visitors with mobility impairments. Accessible restrooms are located near the south doors on the main level. The films are open captioned. Visitors may borrow wheelchairs for use within the park. Please ask at the Ranger's Desk if you'd like to borrow an assistive listening device or wheelchair. The park has an UbiDuo available upon request at the Ranger's desk. Point to the UbiDuo sign, if needed. This communication device enables deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing people to communicate face to face using a set of keyboards.
