It's fun and it's surprisingly easy to do. For StudentsCitizen science project field trips are available at the Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center. The field trips are designed for grades K-12. Students learn about preserving history and the importance of Louisiana's wetlands. Groups take part in real-life conservation and environmental issues through hands-on research projects. Take Phenology Training at the Wetlands Acadian Cultural Center. What's phenology? It's the study of cyclical seasonal changes in the environment.
