This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in digital file management while contributing to our operational efficiency. Location: King Salmon, Alaska Schedule • May 4 – August 2 (dates negotiable)
• 40 hours/week for up to 13 weeks
Key duties and responsibilities:
• Digital File Management: Organize and maintain digital files, ensuring they are easily accessible and up-to-date.
• Uploading Files: Convert physical inventory documents into digital formats and upload them to our file management system.
• Data Entry: Accurately input data from physical files into digital formats, maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Quality Control: Review uploaded files for accuracy and completeness, ensuring all necessary documents are included.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the inventory and operations teams to understand file needs and ensure proper documentation.
• Assistance: Provide support in other administrative tasks related to file management and inventory organization as needed.
Qualifications:
• 18 years of age
• Alaska Resident
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Living Accommodations
• Dormitory style housing with shared kitchen and bath
Compensation
• $600/week for up to 13 weeks
• Paid housing expenses if living in NPS provided dormitory
• Paid travel expenses to/from King Salmon at the beginning and end of the season
