Field trip programs to the monument are typically offered from Memorial Day until late-October. NPS rangers provide expert knowledge in creating interactive and informative experiences for students. They encourage active participation, asking students to observe, analyze, and draw connections between the concepts they learn in the classroom and real-world phenomena. Each field trip program consists of three parts (pre-site, on-site, post-site):
Fall Field Trip ProgramsFall ranger-led field trips are typically offered starting mid-September through late October. Please submit your request 2 weeks before desired program date.
