Herman Leirer Road (commonly called "Exit Glacier Road") is the only road into Kenai Fjords National Park. The drive to the Exit Glacier Area parking lot is 8.6 miles from the Seward Highway.

Air Taxis

Kenai Fjords can be a challenging place to visit. Air taxi services will drop you off and pick you up in the park.

Kenai Fjords National Park does not provide shuttles, but there are plenty of options from the town of Seward.

The park is open year round. The primary months to visit are June through August, with reduced services during the shoulder seasons.
