Below are videos and online activities that will teach you about preservation and values, and why they are important when thinking about the past, present, and future.

The photos to the right are from the Carnegie Museum of the Keweenaw in Houghton, MI. This incredible museum provides students the opportunity to learn about local history and preservation efforts. Ask your teacher about how you can visit the museum!

2. What are important things to preserve? If you had to preserve something, what would it be?
3. What does this make you wonder? What broader / bigger questions does this video raise for you?

2. What do the exhibits show about the current values of the people who live in the Keweenaw?
