Operating Hours

The park Temporary Visitor Center (Historic Fire Station No. 6), Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church, and Freedom Hall are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

Dr. King's "Birth Home" is currently closed for renovations, however, Ranger-Led "Birth Home" Presentations are conducted in the bookstore nextdoor to the Birth Home multiple times each day. Ranger-Led walk-through tours of the Historic Ebenezer Baptist Church called "Church Talks" are also provided daily.

The 3rd Monday in January is observed as the Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Holiday. The park is open on this day and may provide special events and programs.

April 4th - 9th is the Anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Assassination. The park is open during this observance, and may provide special programs.

All facilities are closed January 1st., Thanksgiving Day, and December 25th.
