Metro travel 

The closest metro stops to the home are:

• McPherson Square Station on I street (south of the home) which visitors can take the blue, orange, or silver lines
• U-street/African-Amer Civil War Memorial/Cardozo Station (north of the home) which visitors can take the green or yellow line.
• From each metro station, it’s about a 12–15-minute walk.  

Car/van travel 

There is free street parking along Vermont Ave near the home. No spaces are designated as accessible.
