Hello, my name is Gregory and I am a Ranger here at Flight 93 National Memorial. I’m standing on the flight path of Flight 93. We actually call it the shadow of flight path of Flight 93. So if you were standing right where I am right now, the plane would actually have flown right over our head. When you step upon this flight path, there are timestamps. The first timestamp that you will come across will be for Flight 11, which was the first plane to attack American that day, which hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center at 8:46. As you walk in this direction, the next timestamp that you will come upon will be for Flight 175, which hit the South Tower of the World Trade Center at 9:03. And then the last on this flight path will be for Flight 77. It was the plane that hit the Pentagon at 9:37. Now, as you’re walking in this direction, you would have passed through two walls. The two walls form a portal. And these walls, as you walk on this flight path of the plane, you’re concentrating on getting through these two walls. And when you emerge through on the other side is when you come to the section here where the field is revealed to you. As you walk to the end of this flight path in the field below is a boulder that marks the spot where the plane hit. Now, when you’re done here on the flight path, you’re invited to come into our visitor center. In our visitor center, there are ten panels of exhibits. If you start at the very first one, it somewhat tells the story chronologically, but you don’t have to start at the first panel. There’s audio, there’s visual, there’s pieces of the plane on display. There are tribute items, messages left on answering machines. And the very last panel has all the names of everyone that died that day, almost 3,000 names.
