Internship Opportunities

Each summer Mount Rushmore National Memorial hosts a paid summer internship through our cooperating assocation the Mount Rushmore Society. The Kay Jorgensen Interpretive Internship application period is open late February to early March, check back for updates on open application dates.
Duties include:

• Formal interpretive talks
• Staffing desks in the Lincoln Borglum Visitor Center and Information Center
• Providing Junior Ranger experiences
• Answering information requests by mail and phone
• Collateral duties that support visitor center operations
