Fee Waivers
To be eligible for a fee waiver, the group must represent an accredited educational institution visiting to enhance their curriculum. Fee waivers are not issued based solely on distance to the site or economic hardship. Groups such as Scouting, Rotary, Elks, and similar organizations are not eligible for the educational fee waiver. If a fee waiver is not granted, the following fees apply:
ChaperonesChaperones are required for all educational groups. If your group qualifies for an educational fee waiver, it will cover the costs for a limited number of chaperones:
For example, a group of 20 elementary school students is allowed 4 chaperones at no cost. Any additional chaperones will need to pay the standard tour fee. A chaperone can be a teacher, teacher's aide, or parent helper.
