NPS Photo Become a Junior Ranger!Did you know you can become an official Junior Ranger at Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial? Children ages 5-12 can request one of several Junior Ranger workbooks from the desk in the Visitor Center to complete. On completion of the workbook, a ranger will swear them in and present them with a badge. Each workbook contains puzzles, games, activities and fun tasks to complete around the park! 
Available Junior Ranger BooksPerry's Victory & International Peace MemorialExplore the museum, take in the view from the observation deck, and help protect the lake with this park-specific book. Junior rangers will learn all about the Battle of Lake Erie, the construction of Perry's Victory & International Peace Memorial, and the environment of the Lake Erie islands. Comes in two difficulty levels: Ages 6-9 and Ages 10-12.
Great Lakes Junior Ranger Activity BookExplore, protect, and learn about the environment of the Great Lakes with this Junior Ranger book. The best part is, you don't have to wait until you get here to start it! Pick up the book at any of the Great Lakes National Parks and bring the completed book to Perry's Victory to recieve your badge. Alternatively, get the book from us and take it to any of the other Great Lakes parks to complete it.
