Charles Wort's Boathouse

Boat concession operations have existed at Jenny Lake since the 1920’s, even before the park's designation in 1929. In those early days during the winter, Jenny Lake boat concessioners would store their boats at the boathouse built by Charles Wort. Today, the boathouse is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. 

This is a private facility and no public entrance is allowed.
