Monument Description:

This monument, donated by the Valley Forge Park Commission under the jurisdiction of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 1908, marks the location of the encampment of Poor's Brigade. All of the New York and New Hampshire troops at Valley Forge served under Brigadier General Enoch Poor of New Hampshire. It is not presently known in which division this brigade served.
