Description
Join us and our nımí·pu· partners as members of the tribe commemorates the 147th anniversary of the Battle of the Big Hole and all who died here. The ceremony begins promptly at 10:00AM MT on Friday, August 9, 2024.
We recommend arriving early so you have time to park and walk to the ceremony location along the Camp Trail in the battlefield. Please bring your own chair/s, bug spray, sunscreen, and water.
Be aware that the public is welcome to observe the entire ceremony, but some parts are reserved for nımí·pu· participation only, and sometimes photography is not allowed. These will be made clear during the ceremony.
