Central Management Documents

Each unit of the National Park Service requires additional documents to guide the trail, the central and most important being the comprehensive management plan. The Potomac Heritage NST currently does not have a comprehensive management plan. Currently, there are two other documents that are the foundation for the management for the Trail: the foundation document and the strategic plan.

Foundation Document

Strategic Partnership Plan

In 2022, Potomac Heritage National Scenic Trail collaborated with over 50 of our partners to devise a plan, highlighting the purpose of the partnerships and to establish expectations for each party. Read the Strategic Partnership Plan here.
