  • Volunteer: About 2.5 million visitors annually enjoy Point Reyes National Seashore's wildlands and opportunities for recreation and solitude. You can enrich your experience by volunteering. Over the last few years, volunteers have contributed over 50,000 hours removing nonnative plant species, monitoring wildlife, providing information to visitors, working at the Morgan Horse Ranch, protecting the resources, cleaning up and monitoring beaches, and maintaining the trails.
  • Work With Us: Currently, there are over 400 areas within the National Park system, with over 15,000 permanent employees and 5,000 temporary and seasonal employees. The types of jobs available within the National Park Service are as diverse as the parks themselves.
  • Planning: Find planning projects at Point Reyes National Seashore, including Environmental Impact Statements, Environmental Assessments, management plans, and decision documents.
  • Do Business with Us: Information about obtaining a contract to do work for the park or a commercial use authorization.

General Management Plan Amendment

A Settlement Agreement on the management of ranching on park lands & the Revised Record of Decision for the GMP Amendment are now available.
