Ranger-Led Walks, Talks, & Activities

Explore the history and nature of the Rocky Mountains on a ranger-led program. Walks, talks and other ranger-guided activities are free and open to the public. Ranger programs (topics, descriptions, times, and locations) are posted at visitor centers throughout the park. Programs may be canceled at the last minute, due to unforeseen circumstances like inclement weather or staff availability. We advise that you check at one of the park's visitor centers to check on the status of a program.

Learn More About Rocky Mountain National Park at RockyLab!


Interested in learning more about Rocky Mountain National Park? Meet with a park ranger guide and explore different topics during RockyLab.

Fun, interactive activities include wildlife track identification, bird identification, tree identification, design your own national park, and more! Join us at Fall River Visitor Center from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on April 6, April 7, April 12 and April 13.

This program takes place inside the Fall River Visitor Center, located along U.S. Highway 34 near Estes Park. These are drop-in programs. Visitors of all ages are welcome to drop in anytime between 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and stay as long as they choose. This program is free and a park entrance fee is not needed to attend.
