Operating Hours & Seasons

The Park

The St. Croix and Namekagon rivers are open year-round for you to explore.

• Watch for alerts and check the current conditions.
• High water conditions may create unsafe river conditions and floor river landings and campsites.
• Winter snows often limit access to landings, trails, and campsites.
• Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

Visitor Centers

St. Croix River Visitor Center

The St. Croix River Visitor Center is open seasonally, from mid-April through October.
Hours of operation are 10:00 am to 5:00 pm daily including all federal holidays.

Namekagon River Visitor Center

This facility is closed for the season and will reopen on Memorial Day weekend of 2025.
Hours of operation are Thursdays through Mondays from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm through Labor Day.
