Permits & Reservations

Important notice on space-use restrictions:
Permits, authorizations, and reservations for Saint-Gaudens National Historical Park will be limited through 2027 due to ongoing construction projects.

  • Blow-Me-Down Farm: All permits, authorizations, and reservations for this area are currently on hold until 2027.

  • Historic Core, Aspet and Surrounding Structures: Construction will be ongoing through 2026, affecting access and availability.

For any questions regarding specific dates or to check if your requested location will be impacted, please reach out to the Permit Office before submitting your application.

 
 
Advanced reservation is not required for individuals visiting the park and entry passes can be purchased upon arrival. To request special programming for school groups or large groups, please make reservations in advance by calling 603-675-2175. Not sure if your activity requires a permit or reservation? Special Use Permits

A special park use refers to short-term activities that benefit specific individuals or groups. To ensure the protection of park resources and the public interest, these activities require written authorization from the National Park Service.

Weddings and Ceremonies

Permits can be issued for weddings and other ceremonies in a number of locations within the park.

First Amendment Activities

The necessity to obtain a permit to conduct First Amendment activities is determined by the group size and/or location of the proposed activity.

Commercial Use Authorizations

Commercial use authorizations are required for individuals, organizations, or companies that wish to provide goods, activities, or services within the park, utilizing park resources for monetary gain or profit. Examples of these types of activities include: guided hikes, art workshops, or photography workshops.
